Professor David A. Youlton was re-elected as Digital TV Group chairman at a meeting of Council on Monday 14th February.
David was first appointed as chair in 1997, succeeding Michael Starks, the founding chair. Since his appointment, the organisation has continued to develop from an informal group of interested parties into a well-established and respected industry wide organisation.
David also chairs the Digital TV Stakeholders' Group and has a seat on the Switchover Supervisory Board. David was previously chairman and CEO of Snell & Wilcox, which he built into one of the largest privately held companies in the broadcast electronics industry.
