Set-top box maker Pace Micro Technology says its first product shipments to DirecTV have been approved by the US satellite broadcaster.
Pace said more details of the approval would be given on Monday when the company releases its full-year results.
Last July Pace won a major contract to supply DirecTV with next-generation set-top boxes, and a much-expanded order to provide set-tops to US cable giant Comcast.
But in March Pace warned in a statement to the City that although products for US customers were nearing completion "it is likely that our gaining certain customer approvals will be later than previously expected as we work to resolve and test some remaining issues".
And in May Pace said further delays in US shipments would have "consequences for both the current and following financial year".
