US telecommunications giant AT&T has added two additional high-definition television (HDTV) channels to its internet protocol television (IPTV) service, U-verse. The addition of History Channel HD and Lifetime Movie Network HD takes the U-verse HD line-up to more than 30 channels.
"Our U-verse TV channel lineup keeps growing, and we're thrilled to add these quality networks to our service, providing more choice for customers," said Dan York, head of content and programming, AT&T Entertainment Services.
"With our increasing number of HD channels and international programming, we want all of our customers to know they can get the content they want from AT&T U-verse TV."
U-verse launched in June 2006 with 200 channels and now offers more than 320 channels.
