Awards for ADB and TANDBERG at IPTV World Forum

TANDBERG Television has celebrated the fifth industry award for its iPlex UltraCompression HD and SD IPTV at the 2008 IPTV World Forum in London. The solution won the IPTV World Series Award for Best IPTV Head-end & Video Processing Technology. The award was given for the latest transcoding capabilities in the TANDBERG iPlex UltraCompression IPTV head-end.

The TANDBERG iPlex is a flexible HD and SD video processing platform. Since its launch at IPTV World Forum last year, the iPlex has won the 'Best IPTV Head-end & Video Processing Technology' Award at the IPTV World Forum in London last year; an IEC InfoVision Award at Broadband World Forum (BBWF) in Asia; a CSI Product of the Year Award at IBC for 'Best Digital Video Processing Technology', and an IEC InfoVision Award at the BBWF Europe 2007 in Berlin.

Advanced Digital Broadcast's ADB-5810TWX high definition (HD), hybrid, IPTV digital video recorder (DVR) collected the 'Best IPTV Customer Premise Technology' at the Awards.
