Digital UK has announced the dates for digital switchover in the West Country in 2009.
In North Devon the switchover will begin on 1 July and be completed on 29 July.
The West Cornwall and Isles of Scilly regions will begin to lose the analogue signal on 8 July with switchover completing on 5 August.
The Caradon hill transmitter will cease analogue broadcasting to Plymouth, parts of Devon and East Cornwall four days later.
Commercial multiplexes will broadcast at higher power and on new frequencies at the Huntshaw Cross transmitter in North Devon and Redruth transmitter in West Cornwall and Isles of Scilly from 30 September 2009.
