Sky 1 HD is to launch on Virgin's TV service on 1 October. The channel is available to all customers on Virgin Media's 'XL' TV package.
Virgin have also announced BBC 1 HD is to launch on the service later this year.
Sky 1 HD highlights for October include U.S. series House, forensic crime series Bones, the new season of Stargate Universe and new season of Fringe.

Sky 1 HD will be launching on channel 122 on Virgin Media.
