BSkyB has announced that its mobile TV service, Sky Go, has added a further 14 entertainment channels to watch across the full set of Sky Go compatible devices.
The pay-TV provider has added Comedy Central, MTV, Dave, Watch, Gold, Discovery, Nat Geo and History among other channels to its service.
Sky said that consumers now have access to up to 57 different channels on Sky Go, with 40 entertainment channels sitting alongside 6 Sky Sports channels and 11 Sky Movies channels.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s Brand Director of TV Products, said: “Sky Go has gone from strength to strength since it launched in July 2011 and now attracts over 3 million unique users quarterly. The addition of these channels is part of our continued commitment to provide our customers with a great TV experience.”
According to BSkyB, Sky Go received just over 3 million requests to watch shows and movies On Demand during early October (7-13th).
