Channel4’s Film4 has announced some changes to its team. Film4, headed by Tessa Ross, is Channel 4 Television’s feature film division. Film4 develops and co-finances films and is known for working with the most innovative talent in the UK, whether new or established.
Hannah Saunders has been promoted to Film4 Marketing and Brand Executive, responsible for co-ordinating on UK releases, international festivals and corporate brand management. She continues to report into Sue Bruce-Smith, Head of Commercial and Brand Strategy.
Harry Dixon has been appointed Head of Film Finance, and is now responsible for tracking revenues and for financial projections and modelling, in addition to his current legal and business affairs responsibilities. He continues to report into Geraldine Atlee, Head of Legal & Business Affairs for Film4 and Channel 4 (scripted content).
Film4’s forthcoming releases include Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave, Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin, Richard Ayoade’s The Double, David Mackenzie’s Starred Up and Lenny Abrahamson’s Frank. The upcoming slate also includes Justin Kurzel’s Macbeth, Todd Haynes’ Carol, Kevin Macdonald’s Black Sea, Alex Garland’s Ex Machina, Lone Scherfig’s Posh, Mike Leigh’s Untitled Turner Project and Ken Loach’s Jimmy’s Hall.
