Netflix pulls further ahead of Amazon

New figures from Decipher's bi-annual media consumption tracker "MediaBug" show that Netflix's membership has increased from 10% to 14% of UK online users in the previous six months. This is in contrast to the recently rebranded Amazon Prime Instant Video (previously LOVEFiLM Instant) which dropped from 8% to 6% over the same period.

The new figures also revealed that the proportion of Netflix subscribers committing solely to the free trial dropped from 39% to 25%.
