SnappyTV's platform allows users to live edit broadcast quality videos and deliver them straight to twitter. This tool, the use which is focused for TV broadcasters, businesses and event producers has been acquired by the social media, Twitter.
The social media currently has over 450 million users and the purchase of SnappyTV will "help partners and brands bring the best videos into the conversation, when it matters most" according to Director, Product Management Baljeet Singh.
Twitter will be integrating SnappyTV more tightly with Twitter and plans to maintain partners' ability to post high quality videos to other platforms.
