Ed Vaizey MP adopts a new title and responsibilities as the UK’s first Minister of State for Culture and the Digital Economy

Ed Vaizey MP, formerly Minister of State for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries has become the UK’s first Minister of State for Culture and the Digital Economy as new details emerge following Cameron’s controversial ministerial re-shuffle last month.

The new role is shared between Vaizey’s existing department – Culture, Media and Sport – and the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills; where he’s picked up new responsibilities including the digital economy, entrepreneurship and skills. For full details of the new role, visit gov.uk.
