Sky shows best UK growth for 11 years

Sky added 127,000 UK and Ireland subscribers in the first three months of 2015, its best quarterly growth for 11 years.

The stand-out quarter included more than 300 million On Demand downloads and continued growth across its European businesses in Germany, Austria and Italy, Broadband TV News reports.

SNP wants an 100m more from TV Licence

The Scottish National Party wants to increase Scotland's share of the TV Licence fee by £100m and have more say in the BBC charter renewal process.

The 40% increase in Scotland's share of the BBC programming budget would come alongside a shift in powers over Scottish broadcasting from Westminster to Holyrood, says Broadcast.
