DTG and CAI release draft of the latest R-Book for industry review

DTG and the CAI (Confederation of Aerial Industries) have been working on bringing the R-Book up to date and have released the first draft for industry review.

Due to the increasing demand for UHF spectrum and expected changes to the 700 MHz band, a new version has been produced following recommendations from the DTG RF Group and regulators Ofcom.

The R-Book is an essential guide for installers and professionals interested in working with the UHF Band.

The aim of the latest book is to support and prepare the DTT installation industry for future spectrum changes and how to deal with the impact they could have on working practices. Included in the R-Book is practical advice on interference mitigation as well as the advice on the latest industry guidelines.

The R-Book will be published following industry review and will be available to download from the DTG website. An exact date of publication will be confirmed in due course.
