DTG’s Spectrum Access Forum has held its second annual spectrum-oriented event, WRC-15: Impact on UK Plc.
More than 70 guests attended to hear about the event and the next steps, from the DCMS and from key organisations representing the broadcast, mobile and satellite industries.
Dr Nick Munn, Head of Spectrum Policy at DCMS, spoke alongside Roberto Ercole, GSMA's Senior Director of Long Term Spectrum and Glyn Carter, GSMA's Senior Spectrum Advisor for Government and Regulatory Affairs; Peter Couch, Head of Strategy and Development at Arqiva, and Anna Marklund, Spectrum Development Manager for SES.
There were two sessions, the first covering the events and decisions of WRC-15 from their perspective, including the impact on their industry.
The second session looked forward to the work that their industry will need to do in preparation for the next WRC in 2019, and the following event in 2023.
The DTG will publish a white paper in early 2016, summarising the presentations, recommendations and debates of the day.The presentations can be downloaded from the DTG Publications area (link on right).
