DTG hosting a 4th UHD Plugfest in collaboration with German TV Platform.

The DTG’s UK UHD Forum plays a huge role within the development of technology, and following the success of the forums previous events, we’re bringing the industry together again on the 12th and 13th April 2016. Established in 2014, the UHD Plugfests help UHD receiver manufacturers, broadcasters, content producers and test equipment providers ensure requirements for HDMI, HEVC, HDCP 2.2 and HDR remain interoperable.

The last plugfest focussing on HDR was held in collaboration with German TV Platform, in Berlin on 8th and 9th December 2015. The sessions were at full capacity and received great feedback from all participants. DTG and DTVP are joining forces once more with the next plugfest, continue to focus on HDR, with the addition of HDMI 2.0a/HDCP 2.2 interoperability with AVRs.

This plugfest is open to all of DTG & DTVP members. Those who wish to participate with their UHD receivers (TVs, STBs or AVRs), content and test equipment, please complete the Registration Form and Participation Agreement by Friday 25th March 2016.

The test plan and full schedule will be circulated following this date. For any further queries or information on the plugfest, please get in touch with Ranjeet Kaur on rkaur@dtg.org.uk
