Informitv announces top 10 Multiscreen Index for US

Informitiv has announced results from Altice USA and Frontier which detail the quarterly subscriber change in Multiscreen Index for the 10 leading pay-TV services in the US.

Quarterly gains saw 84,600 new subscribers driven by growth in the online services from Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW, despite a drop of 1.62 million subscribers in 2017.

Dr William Cooper, the editor of the informitv Multiscreen Index said: "Sling TV and DirecTV NOW are adding significant numbers of online subscribers but overall the traditional platforms are slowly leaking television customers. These two online services currently only represent 4% of the television subscribers to the top 10 services in the United States as ranked in the Multiscreen Index.”
