AOL to offer 70 XM Satellite radio stations

AOL is partnering up with US broadcaster XM Satellite Radio to develop a co-branded online radio service that will replacing the two firm's current web offerings.

The link-up will boost AOL's access to radio programming, and will promote XM's growing brand to AOL's 22m subscribers.

The deal will make available 70 XM radio channels for AOL subscribers, 20 of which will also be available via the free AOL.com portal.
