Rise, the award-winning advocacy group for women in the broadcast technology sector, is pleased to reveal the shortlist for this year’s Rise Awards.

The judges saw a stellar selection of global nominations from women in a variety of roles across the industry in several categories: Business, Engineer, Marketer/PR, Rising Star, Sales, Technical Operations, Woman of the Year and this year’s new category, Product Innovation.

The awards ceremony will be held virtually as part of the DPP Tech Leaders’ Summit on Tuesday 17 November at 18:45 (GMT).  The winners will be announced during the live presentation and we will be asking all attendees to dress for the occasion. Please register here to be sent details.

Rise founder, Sadie Groom, said: “We received a real global entry this year with so many amazing nominations for talented women from Australia, UK, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Singapore and the US.  We have seen an extraordinary calibre of talent across the broadcast and technology industry that is was extremely hard to narrow them down to the final shortlist. We’re thankful for everyone who submitted an entry on the inspiring women in their workplaces and extend a big warm congratulations to all those shortlisted.”

Rise Managing Director, Carrie Wootten, added: “We are overwhelmed with the response we received for this year’s Rise Awards and it is a testament to the incredible female talent we have in our industry.
