The DTG is delighted to announce two new appointments to its Council of industry leaders – Finecast Head of Marketing Kelaine Blades and Channel 4 Chief Architect Matt Wilson.

The DTG Council is a broad church of senior inter-disciplinary stakeholders, bringing together the best thinkers from across broadcasters, technology providers and manufacturers to inform our work, policy, and strategic direction.

As Head of Marketing at Finecast, Kelaine is responsible for articulating the Finecast brand, products, services and value proposition ensuring they are accurately understood, represented and promoted.

Prior to Finecast, Kelaine was Director of EMEA Marketing at data technology leader, Dynata, where she led marketing strategy across digital multi-channel demand generation, go-to market strategy, pipeline creation and growth marketing. Kelaine also previously held marketing roles at Aimia, Sizmek and Velti driving growth and supporting local markets with PR, digital campaigns, content marketing and events.

Kelaine is a supporter for gender equality and inclusivity holding several leadership roles within the women’s charity, Junior League of London.

Matt Wilson is currently the Chief Architect at Channel 4 Television UK, having previously held various lead technical roles there. His team is responsible for the information technology strategy and architecture across the organisation, including the central business functions of Advertising Sales, Broadcast Management Systems, Data Analytics and the public facing online product All 4.

Matt was instrumental in delivering the technical data strategy, combining a centralised identity platform with data analytics, to enable a single view of the viewer.

More recently he has been key in building the pivotal technical strategies that enable Channel 4 to realise Dynamic Ad Insertion (DIA) over DTT.

“These two fantastic appointments bring more incredible expertise, perspectives and insight to the table and I’m delighted to welcome both Kelaine and Matt to the DTG Council,” said DTG Chief Executive Richard Lindsay Davies. “Our muscle really is in our membership, and having such an impressive collection of minds steering our work ensures we remain at the forefront of TV developments, representing every part of our sector”
