The finalists for the 2022 HbbTV Awards have been announced and the DTG is delighted to have been selected in the ‘best use of HbbTV for advertising-based solution’ category.
The Awards showcase and celebrate excellence in the HbbTV community and the DTG has been chosen for its industry collaboration to explore “Targeted Substitution of Broadcast Ads Using HbbTV”.
Other finalists include Digitiwise, Fincons Group and Mediaset, Kineton and TV Nova. The winner of each category will be revealed at the prestigious HbbTV Awards ceremony, held on 9 November 2022 in Prague.
Ranjeet Kaur, Associate Director of Products and Services for DTG Testing said “We’re thrilled to be a finalist for this category! Bringing industry together to collaborate for the greater good is more important than ever, and it’s great for our work with members to be recognised in this way.
“The full report output from the work is now available on the DTG website and DTG Full members have access to the Test Suite free of charge so they can test their receivers’ capability to support targeted advertising now and in the future”
Ranjeet will also be presenting the Targeted Advertising project in a dedicated session on Day one of the 10th HbbTV Symposium and is moderating a panel discussion dedicated to conformance regimes on Day two. More info here.
