Tell us a little bit about Arqiva

Arqiva is at the heart of the broadcast industry in the UK, our home market, moving television and radio content effectively, securely and sustainably at scale. We also work with leading broadcasters from around the world, distributing more than a thousand channels internationally using our cloud, fibre and satellite infrastructure.

What’s the most exciting project coming up for Arqiva?

Hybrid consumption – of linear, OTT and FAST services – is shaping priorities for broadcasters and platform operators around the world. So at Arqiva, we’re investing in new platforms and services to tackle those emerging priorities.

These include Arqade, which simplifies cloud-based delivery of live channels and events; Arqplex, which brings together broadcast and OTT content processing operations; and Arqedge, which offers a new approach to cost-effective delivery of broadcast-grade streaming experiences.

What are you most excited for at the DTG Summit 2023

As a forum, DTG Summit is always a great place to discuss and debate the current state of the television and streaming ecosystem and how it that will progress from here. As the industry evolves, that feels incredibly valuable at this moment.

Tell us something people might not know about Arqiva

Serving the media industry is at the heart of what we do. However, we’re also harnessing our experience and infrastructure to deliver pioneering solutions for some of the UK’s largest utility companies. We work with water companies to capture and aggregate near real-time data on water usage, helping them reduce consumption, tackle leakage and operate more efficiently.

The DTG Summit 2023 takes place on May 4th at Kings Place, London. Join hundreds of other delegates from across the TV landscape as we explore the Bigger Picture together.
