Promax has launched a HD portable analyser incorporating DVB-T2 technology – the first in the world to do so according to the company.
The new TV Explorer HD+ Analyser is able to analyse and demodulate all variants of DVB (DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB- C, DVB-S and DVB-S2) in both standard definition and high definition, including encrypted services.
The Analyser has been selected by the Finnish operator, Anvia Oy to support the introduction of DVB-T2 services in Finland.
“Being the first worldwide company to supply field analysers for the second generation of digital terrestrial television networks (DVB-T2) is the result of a continued effort for innovation that embraces all levels in our company,” said Promax CEO José Mª Clotet.
“The licenses granted by the Finnish government to deploy DVB-T2 networks in order to broadcast high-definition services, confirms Anvia’s strong involvement in the development of the television industry in Finland. Promax, as a technology partner in this challenge, will be essential to meet high technical requirements we want for our network.”added Anvia TV CEO Marianne Hynninen.
