5G is coming and, if you believe the hype, there is very little it will not be able to do. Gigabyte-plus download speeds, Skype calls in crystal clear UHD and mobile devices showing 4K quality video on the move the possibilities appear endless.
Already it looks set to transform many sectors. So how should people in the TV industry be looking at it? Should they see it as a threat, should they be leading the charge or does the answer somewhere in between? The answer to those questions will depend on what 5G looks like when it gets here.
